Artists at Anna Meyrick Studios have traveled globally and incorporate their experiences into their artwork. We at Anna Meyrick Studios believe art and life are a process. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves through art, that learning the process of creating art is fundamental and vital for personal growth and development.
Before we can spend time creating art, we must have our basic needs met. Clean water, food, sanitation, health, education and economic opportunity are the foundations for living a quality life.
We are committed to using art and teaching skills to help people meet their basic needs and develop self-sustaining community development programs.
Anna has been creating, teaching and making art for over 20 years. She incorporates her love of color and images into unique functional art pieces. She is always creating, experimenting with new ways to mix mediums or put her own twist on exisiting art forms. Anna loves to teach people to create art almost as much as she loves to make it. She currently teaches Art and Social Studies at Crossroads Alternative School in Oregon City and art classes for children and adults at Fine Art Starts! also located in Oregon City. Anna contracts with public schools teaching Art for the T.A.G. and afterschool programs.
